Installation

Cardscape adds infinite, collaborative canvases to the tools you already use — or works on its own. How you get started depends on the platform you want to use it in.

Trello

Cardscape ships as a Trello Power-Up.

1. Open a Trello board and add the Cardscape Power-Up from the board's Power-Ups menu.
2. The first time you use it, Cardscape asks you to authorize it with your Trello account. Grant the read, write, and account scopes — these let Cardscape show your cards, update them on your behalf, and identify you.
3. Once authorized, launch canvases directly from the board.

The write scope is what lets Cardscape push changes back to Trello — for example, when you edit a card's name or description from a canvas. Without it, cards are read-only.

Jira

Cardscape is a Jira Cloud app, installed from the Atlassian Marketplace.

1. Install the Cardscape app for Jira Cloud from the Marketplace.
2. After installation it appears in two places: as a project page and as an issue panel.
3. Open either surface to start working with canvases on your Jira projects and issues.

Native accounts

You don't need Trello or Jira to use Cardscape. You can sign up directly in the web app.

1. Go to the Cardscape web app and choose Sign up.
2. Register with your email and a password.
3. Create a workspace, or join an existing one by opening an invite link someone shared with you.

Native workspaces hold canvases directly — there are no boards to set up. See Native accounts.
