Native accounts & workspaces

Cardscape can stand on its own. You don't need Trello or Jira — sign up with an email and password, create your own workspaces, and start working on canvases right away.

Sign up and sign in​

  • Sign up with your email and a password to create a Cardscape account.
  • Sign in the same way whenever you return.
  • Prefer to use Trello? There's a Continue with Trello option as well.

Workspaces​

Your work lives in workspaces:

  • Create as many workspaces as you need, and rename them at any time.
  • Each workspace has members, and every member has a role: admin or member. Admins manage the workspace; members work in it.

Native workspaces hold canvases directly — they don't have boards. See Canvases overview.

Roster​

Open a workspace's roster to see who's in it. From there you can:

  • Remove a member from the workspace.
  • Leave a workspace yourself.

A workspace must always keep at least one admin, so the last admin can't be removed or leave until someone else is promoted.

Invites​

Bring people in with shareable invite links:

  • Create an invite link, with an expiry so it can't be used forever.
  • List the links you've created and revoke any of them.
  • When someone opens an invite link and signs up, they land directly in that workspace.

Where to manage all this​

Everything above lives in the Workspaces modal in the web app — open it to create and rename workspaces, manage the roster, and handle invites.
