Working with card details

Open a placed card's detail modal to work with the card without leaving the canvas. Everything you change writes back to the underlying tracker and stays in sync.

What you can do​

  • Edit the card name and description.
  • Toggle checklist items on and off.
  • Add comments to the card.
  • Create a new card in one of the board's open lists.

Because these actions write straight to Trello or Jira, your teammates see the same changes wherever they view the card.

Requirements and limits​

Write access required

Editing a card, toggling checklist items, commenting, and creating cards all require that your connected account has write permission. If it doesn't, the write is refused. Reconnect your account with write access to continue.

Creating cards is Trello only

Creating a new card is a Trello capability. It is not supported on Jira.
