Team chats

Besides your private chats, you can create a Team chat that everyone with access to the canvas shares. Use the + Team option in the agent panel to start one.

How team chats differ from private chats​

A private chat is yours alone — only you can see it, and only you can use it. A team chat is shared: every person with access to the canvas sees the same conversation and can take part.

Who does what​

  • User messages show who sent them. Each message is attributed to its author, so everyone can follow who asked what.
  • Each run acts on behalf of the sender. When someone sends a message, the agent's run acts as that person — so it works with their access and identity, not a shared one.
  • Chat options stay with the owner. Settings for the chat remain with the person who created it.
  • Deletion. A team chat can be deleted by its owner or by a workspace admin.
