Comments

Comments let you hold threaded discussions right on a canvas — pinned to a spot, or attached under a document.

Pinned comments​

To leave a comment at a specific place on the canvas:

  1. Arm the comment tool — click the comment button in the canvas footer, or press C.
  2. Click the spot on the canvas where you want to leave the comment.

A comment pin drops at that point, showing the author's avatar. You can drag a pin to reposition it whenever you like.

Threads​

Every pin opens a thread you can work in:

  • Reply to keep a conversation going.
  • Edit your own messages.
  • Resolve a thread once it's handled.
  • Delete a thread — the author or a workspace admin can remove it.

Document discussions​

Comments aren't only for the canvas surface. A comment thread can also attach under a document — there's no pin in this case; the discussion simply lives beneath the document body.

Finding and sharing comments​

  • Search and filter — a comments tab in the sidebar lists the threads on a canvas so you can search and filter them.
  • Copy a link — each thread has a copy-link button that deep-links straight to it. Following the link lands you on the pin, or opens the document for a document discussion.
