2.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: When you sign up — directly with an email and password, or through a connected tool such as Trello or Jira — we collect your name, email address, and workspace details.
• Canvas & Document Content: The whiteboards, drawings, documents, comments, and other content you and your collaborators create and store in CardScape.
• Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we process payment details via third-party payment providers.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Data: We track interactions within CardScape to improve functionality.
• Device & Log Data: We collect IP addresses, browser type, and access times for security and diagnostics.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, enhance your experience, and understand usage.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

• Trello & Jira Integrations: When you connect a Trello or Jira account, we access the boards, cards, issues, and member details necessary to display and update them on your canvas.
• GitHub Integration: If you connect a GitHub repository to sync documents, we access the repository contents and metadata needed to mirror files two-way.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve CardScape’s services.
• Authenticate users and enhance security.
• Display and synchronize your cards, issues, and documents across integrated platforms.
• Enable real-time collaboration between workspace members.

4. Artificial Intelligence Features

CardScape offers an optional AI assistant that can help you work on your canvas. When you use it, the relevant content you share with the assistant — your messages and the canvas context needed to respond — is sent to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate a response. These providers process the content only to return results to you and do not use it to train their models. The AI assistant is off unless you choose to use it, and workspace administrators can supply their own provider API key.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share it in the following situations:

• With Your Consent: When you authorize integrations with Trello, Jira, GitHub, or other services.
• Service Providers: We share necessary data with third-party services for hosting, analytics, payment processing, and AI features.
• Other Workspace Members: Content you create in a shared workspace is visible to the other members of that workspace.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect our rights and security.
